台州是中国黄金海岸线上一个年轻的滨海城市，位于浙江沿海中部，上海经济区的最南翼。全市陆地面积9411平方公里，海洋面积8万平方公里，人口546万。其中市区面积1536平方公里，人口140万。台州经济发达，市场繁荣，是中国股份合作制的发源地。改革开放20年来，台州人民思想解放，艰苦创业，开拓进取，初步建立起有特色的社会主义市场经济格局，较快地完成了工业化的初期阶段，进入沿海经济较发达城市行列。
　　上海台州商会是由台州在沪企业和台州籍人士在沪创办的企业为主体组成的非赢利性的具有法人资格的社团组织，是促进浙江省台州市经济发展、接轨上海、融入长三角的桥梁和纽带，接受台州市人民政府驻沪联络处的宏观指导。
　　目前，台州在沪注册企业近万家，超过10万台州人在上海经商，台州市级商会会员200多家，椒江、黄岩、临海、温岭、玉环、天台、三门、路桥等八个区县商会会员2000多家。会员行业涉足电子汽车、建筑建材、房地产、餐饮娱乐、医疗保健、金融投资、文化教育事业等多个行业和领域。

Introduction

　　Taizhou, situated in the coastal central section of Zhejiang, has a subtropical monsoon climate. With a land area of 9,411 Square Kilometer and shallow sea area of 80,000 Sq. Km., it controls a population of 6 million. Made up of three districts including Jiaojiang, Huangyan and Luqiao in downtown area, it has under control two country-level cities, that is, Linhai and Wenling, and four countries such as Yuhuan, Tiantai, Xianju and Sanmen.
　　Taozhou is a commercially developed area of Zhejiang, with a multilevel and multifunctional market networking system. After the China’s reform and opening-up, more and more Taizhouees started to go out and do their own business. Till now, there are about 5000 enterprises which were founded by Taizhouees in Shanghai. As more and more Taizhou entrepreneurs come into Shanghai, The Taizhou Chamber of Commerce emerged.
　　The TaiZhou Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai is a non-profit society with artificial person qualification mainly organized by TaiZhou enterprises in Shanghai and enterprises in Shanghai established by people from TaiZhou, which is a bridge and link for boosting TaiZhou’s economy, connecting TaiZhou with Shanghai and fusing into Yangtze Delta. It accepts the macro-direction from the Liaison Office in Shanghai of People’s Government of TaiZhou.
　　At present, there are nearly 10,000 TaiZhou enterprises registered in Shanghai and over 100,000 TaiZhou people running business in Shanghai. In the TaiZhou Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, there are over 200 municipal level members and over 2000 district or county level members from Jiaojiang, Huangyan, Linhai, Wenling, Yuhuan, Tiantai , Sanmen and Luqiao. Those members are engaged in the fields covering various kinds of industry such as electronics, automobile, architecture and construction material, real estate, food and restaurant and recreation, medical treatment and health-care, financial investment, and culture and education, etc..
　　The Taizhou Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai was founded in Y2003. This chamber gathers many first-class enterprises and brands in China, such as Fosun Group, Tengda Construction, Huachen Longdefeng Group, Maple Automobile, A-ming Melon-seeds, ASD Tableware, Si Da Ke Furniture, Weixing Group, Yifeng Automotive Die Making, Gangtai Group, Oriental Auto-fittings City, Yafan Enterprise Group, Double Dove Industry, Venus Sanitary Ware, etc.. The member enterprises are very competitive in the lines of residential buildings, commercial real estate, market construction, auto-fittings, electric appliance, and electromechanical. The production of industrial products of auto-manufacturing, nuts, kitchen tableware, bedroom solid wood furniture, automobile moulds, automobile shock absorber, industrial sewing machine, disposable infusion set, sanitary wares and unsaturated resin are ranked in the leading part of China.
